We
collected a total of 9 golden nuggets from the second trail of Isaiah
52:10 of the fourth trailhead.
Golden Nugget 1
We
learned from Matthew 1:21 that the
name Jesus means “God is salvation”. Therefore,
the salvation of God refers to none other than the beloved Son of God in the
flesh as Jesus of Nazareth.
Golden Nugget 2
We have seen from Luke 2:25-35 how
God had revealed Jesus of Nazareth as the Saviour of the world to Simeon. From there, we mapped out the revealing of
Jesus of Nazareth as the Promised Messiah throughout the different stages of
His growth as a human being.
Before Birth

Matthew
1:18-25: An angel appeared to Joseph, the biological father,
and instructed him to name the Baby, Jesus.
Golden Nugget 4
Luke 1:26-35:
The angel Gabriel instructed Mary, the biological
mother, to name the Baby, Jesus.
New born

Luke 2:8-20: When
Jesus was just born, an angel of the LORD told a group of shepherds that the
Savior was born.

Luke 2:36-38: Apart from Simeon, the
identity of Jesus as the Promised Messiah was also revealed to Anna, a
prophetess.

2:1-12: When Jesus was about two years old, a group of magi or
wise men came to worship Him as the promised Saviour.

The worshippers at the temple were amazed by Jesus’
intelligence and His
understanding and His answers pertaining to the things of God.

John 1:29-34:
God gave John the Baptist the sign to identify the Promised
Messiah; the Holy Spirit descending and remaining on Him.
Hence,
these New Testament scriptures verified that Jesus of Nazareth had fulfilled
the Isaiah 52:10 Messianic credential.
