Volume 5: 1st Treasury Deposit - Verification from the 1st Trailhead

It is treasure worth much more than gold and silver to see the evidence that God has provided with regards to His beloved Son.  The treasury is the heart where we deposit or store up these heavenly treasures.

We are taking stock of the golden nuggets of evidence that God has given about His beloved Son in the flesh as Jesus of Nazareth that we have deposited in the treasury of our heart.

From the 1st trailhead of Isaiah 52:13, we managed to pick up five lumps of golden evidence testifying to Jesus of Nazareth having fulfilled the Isaiah 52:13 Messianic credentials:

Golden Nugget 1
We read from John 19:28-30 of how Jesus “Knowing that all was now finished, said in fulfilment of the Scripture, “I am thirsty.””  Then, He cried out, “It is finished” and thereby signified the successful completion of His Messianic mission.  As you will get to see later, Jesus was thirsty as a result of dehydration from being crucified. Spiritually speaking, He absorbed all the fire of judgment but yet not consumed. Hence, He thirsted. This was typified by the burning bush that Moses saw as recorded in Exodus 3:2.

Golden Nugget 2
From Hebrews 12:2, we see that  Jesus “Who for the joy of accomplishing the goal set before Him endured the cross, disregarded the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work.”

Golden Nugget 3
Matthew 27:26 and Luke 23:33 bear testimony to the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth.

Golden Nugget 4
Acts 1:11 puts on record the ascension of Jesus of Nazareth to heaven.

Golden Nugget 5
Philippians 2:9 is the record of God having highly exalted Jesus of Nazareth and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name.
