Our journey begins with the foundation scripture of Isaiah 50:4-9. It is set in the context of God helping the
Promised Messiah. In the context of our
hiking analogy, this is the Marker.
Each
verse of the foundation scripture is a trailhead, which is the start of a trial
that in turn points deeper into the huge maze of cross referencing. Since there are SIX
verses in Isaiah 50:4-9, there will be SIX
corresponding trailheads. Although not
every trailhead leaves a trail, I am relying on John 14:26 which says that the blessed Holy Spirit
will teach us all things and remind us of everything that Jesus told us. We will cover the overview of each trailhead
and then explore each of them in detail.
