This is a summary of the overview of the nine
trailheads.
Isaiah 49:1 speaks of the Promised Messiah being named before
birth.
Isaiah 49:2 talks about the Promised Messiah saying only what
God says and being protected from harm.
Isaiah 49:3 points to the Promised Messiah as the only Source
of salvation and through Whom God will perform miracles.
Isaiah 49:4 is about the rejection of the Promised Messiah and
His absolute faith in God which would bring about a reward from God.
Isaiah 49:5 tells of the Promised Messiah relying solely on God
to accomplish His mission and being honoured by God for doing that.
Isaiah 49:6 declares that the Promised Messiah will bring
salvation to the world.
Isaiah 49:7 announces that the Promised Messiah will be
despised and hated but yet held in awe because the power of God will be upon
Him.
Isaiah 49:8 prophesized that the Promised Messiah will usher in
salvation at an appointed time to bring restoration and cut a new covenant.
Finally, Isaiah 49:9 alludes
to the setting free of prisoners from the prison of sin by the Promised
Messiah.
