The
first path of Ephesians 1:13
is set in the context of the blessings of redemption as recorded in Ephesians 1:9-14.
The context passage of
Ephesians 1:9-14 opens with the
mystery of God’s will. We have earlier
seen in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 that
the mystery essentially speaks of the transformation of the physically dead
body to an imperishable one. This is our
inheritance; our destiny. The key phrase
in Ephesians 1:13 is that believers
have been stamped with the seal of the Promised Holy Spirit.
