Before
we proceed further, let us check the map to get our bearing.
We have just completed
the first trailhead of Isaiah 42:1.
From that trailhead, we were led to follow two trails of Matthew 3:16
and Matthew 3:17.
While exploring the
trails, we were brought four levels deep into the maze of referencing.
Throughout the journey, we see that the essence of the New Testament scriptures
pointed to how God has identified the Promised Messiah.
In the process, we
have also seen that these New Testament scriptures verified the fulfilment of
the Messianic credentials of Isaiah 42:1
by the beloved Son of God in the flesh as Jesus as Nazareth.
