From the second trail of Matthew 3:17 from the first trailhead of Isaiah 42:1, we collected
another 5
golden nuggets.
Golden Nugget 1
While we were at the
second checkpoint of Hebrews 1:5, we witnessed from Hebrews 1:3-6
how Jesus of Nazareth has brought forth justice to the world by offering
Himself as the ultimate sacrifice on the cross. Hence, Hebrews 1:3-6 verified that
Jesus of Nazareth has fulfilled the fifth Messianic credential of Isaiah
42:1.
Golden Nugget 2
When we visited the
third checkpoint of Hebrews 3:5, we saw how Ephesians 2:8-9
verified that Jesus of Nazareth had fulfilled the fifth Messianic credential of
Isaiah 42:1.
Golden Nugget 3
At the fifth checkpoint
of 2 Peter 1:17, we read of how Peter saw the glory of Jesus of Nazareth
as the beloved Son of God. It was God
upholding or confirming His Son as the Promised Messiah. By the transfiguration of Jesus of Nazareth,
it is clear that He had fulfilled the first four Messianic credentials of Isaiah
42:1.
Golden Nugget 4
On the path of Matthew
17:5, we saw God the Father openly declared Jesus of Nazareth as His
beloved Son in Whom He is well-pleased for the second time. It was God upholding His Son as the Promised
Messiah. With confirmation and
declaration by God, it is clear that Jesus of Nazareth was the Chosen One of
God. Therefore, Matthew 17:5 verified that Jesus of Nazareth had fulfilled the
first three Messianic credentials of Isaiah 42:1.
Golden Nugget 5
Finally, at the sixth checkpoint of 2 Peter
1:18, we witnessed how Peter
testified to hearing God declared Jesus of Nazareth as His beloved Son and it
again testified to Jesus having fulfilled the first three Messianic credentials
of Isaiah 42:1.
